Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes

  • Flightradar24 signup required before feeding Register a Flightradar24 account using the container's --signup flag before feeding data. Store the generated key securely and pass it as --fr24key at runtime. The container needs USB access to the RTL-SDR receiver (--privileged or --device) and exposes ports 8080, 8754, and 30001–30005. source
  • Flightradar24 signup Use the container's --signup command to register with Flightradar24 and save the returned key before starting the feed. source

Common questions

Can Ultrafeeder be used to send ADS-B data to FR24 from a PC?

Ultrafeeder may not send directly to FR24, but it can be combined with fr24feed using Docker Compose.

Can a Flightradar24 feeder run on Windows 10 or 11 instead of a Raspberry Pi?

Yes, you can set up a Flightradar24 feeder on Windows 10 or 11 using Windows Subsystem for Linux.

How do you disable MLAT when multifeeding to FR24?

Make the setting in /etc/fr24feed.ini. The source notes this can save bandwidth if you are not using their image or have another feeder.

What command can help diagnose a stopped FR24 feed?

Run journalctl -u fr24feed and use the output to identify the feed status.
