Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes

  • Use a music folder like /media/music Point Seakarr at a music folder such as /media/music and keep files in Artist/Album folders with numbered track files. This is the layout it expects, so a different structure can stop it from finding or organizing your music. source
  • Set the Soulseek listen port In the Soulseek config, set listen_port to a port you can open in your router, or set it to 0 to disable incoming peer connections. This lets Soulseek receive connections from other peers, or run safely if your firewall blocks those connections. source
  • Check quality limit settings If your config has min_bit_rate or min_bit_depth (audio quality limits), set them to 0 to turn them off unless you need strict rules. Wrong values can make Seakarr skip files you would have downloaded. source
  • Bundled Java server The image includes the latest stable Minecraft Java release, so you do not need to download a separate server file. source
