Technitium DNS Server is an open-source, self-hosted domain name system (DNS) server for privacy and security. It provides both authoritative and recursive DNS resolution, blocks ads and malware at the DNS level across your whole network, and exposes a web-based console for managing zones, block lists, and analytics. It is aimed at home and small-office users who want a single, self-hosted DNS endpoint for all their devices instead of relying on their internet service provider's resolver. It works out of the box with minimal configuration and is a good fit for homelabs that need dependable name resolution with built-in filtering.
