Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes
- Get Node.js before starting a local addon If you are running a local Stremio addon, install Node.js (which includes npm, the tool for fetching code packages) before running the addon script. Without them, the addon server cannot start, so Stremio will not see any streams. source
- Add the printed URL in Stremio After you run the addon script, add the printed manifest URL (the web address describing the addon) to Stremio. If you skip this step, the local addon stays invisible and Stremio will not offer its streams. source
- Keep the addon port reachable The example serves the addon on network port 7000, the address it listens for requests on. Make sure that port is not blocked by a firewall or network; otherwise Stremio cannot connect and the addon will appear broken. source
- Expose a single port (8080) The container runs the web player and Stremio server together behind nginx on port 8080, so you only need to expose that one port. The Unraid template is preconfigured to start Stremio out of the box with almost no additional setup. source

Common questions
What single port should I expose for the bundled Stremio server and web player?
Expose port 8080. The web player and server both run behind nginx on that port.
Can the container work with HTTPS if I access it by IP instead of a domain?
Yes. When you provide an IPADDRESS, it automatically generates and uses SSL certificates. It can also use your own domain and certificates.
Does the image support GPU-accelerated transcoding?
On Linux, it includes ffmpeg with VAAPI support for Intel and AMD GPUs when the GPU is passed through. On Windows and macOS, transcoding uses the CPU only.
Can I add simple username/password protection?
Yes. The image supports HTTP Basic Auth to secure the instance with a username and password.
