What is Dropbox?[br/] "One place for all your stuff, wherever you are."[br/] [br/] Dropbox is a home for all your photos, docs, videos, and files. Anything you add to Dropbox will automatically show up on all your computers, phones and even the Dropbox website... so you can access your stuff from anywhere.[br/] [br/] Dropbox also makes it super easy to share with others, whether you're a student or professional, parent or grandparent. Even if you accidentally spill a latte on your laptop, have no fear! Relax knowing that your stuff is safe in Dropbox and will never be lost.[br/] [br/] Container Mountpoints:[br/] * /dropbox : Dropbox home folder. The dropbox app needs to be able to change the folders out to upgrade itself.[br/] * /dropbox/Dropbox : Dropbox user files. This is your sync'd data folder. It can be share or just a plain folder under appdata. Do not use a cache +

How is this calculated?

A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes

  • Enter your Dropbox app key Before starting, replace <APP_KEY> with the app key from your Dropbox developer app. Without it, the app cannot begin Dropbox sign-in, so users cannot grant access to their account. source
  • Connect the sign-in return link Wire the app’s URL-open handler to DropboxClientsManager.handleRedirectURL so the sign-in browser can send the user back. If this is missing, the sign-in flow stops after the user logs in and the app never gets a connected Dropbox client. source
  • Use a token provider that refreshes Set up the Dropbox client with an access-token provider that can refresh short-lived tokens. If the token expires and the app cannot refresh it, Dropbox API calls will start failing until the user signs in again. source
