Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes
- Run the Docker setup and use postgres as host Start and keep running the WhoDB and PostgreSQL containers from the Docker Compose file, and when WhoDB asks for the database host, use `postgres` instead of `localhost`. Port 8080 is the WhoDB app, 5432 is the PostgreSQL database, and using the Docker service name helps WhoDB find the database inside Docker. source
- Install the CLI before running whodb commands If you will use the command line, install the official CLI with `npm install -g @clidey/whodb`. This puts the `whodb` command on your machine, so you can log in, run queries, or start the MCP server (a bridge for AI tools) instead of getting a command-not-found error. source
- Sign in and save a default org/project After WhoDB is running, sign in with `whodb login --host http://localhost:8080`, then save your defaults with `whodb use --host http://localhost:8080 --org <org> --project <project>`. This tells the CLI which account and workspace to use, so later commands do not fail because they do not know where to send data. source
