Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes
- Start DbGate from the terminal After installing, run dbgate-serve for Community or dbgate-serve-premium for Premium. Without this, the DbGate page at http://localhost:3000 won't come up. source
- Keep port 3000 free DbGate serves its browser interface from http://localhost:3000, where localhost means your own machine. If another program is already using that port (the network door the app listens on), DbGate may not start or you may reach the wrong app. source
- Use Premium command for paid features If you need DbGate's paid features, run npm install -g dbgate-serve-premium and then run dbgate-serve-premium. The Community command will not unlock premium features. source
