Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes

  • Install the Qualtrics helper packages Run npm install --save-dev qualtrics-types-unofficial @types/jquery in your project folder. These add developer-only definitions for Qualtrics and jQuery (npm is the package installer), so your editor and build tools can understand your Qualtrics code instead of throwing missing-type errors. source
  • Tell your editor which types to load Add "types": ["jquery", "qualtrics-types-unofficial"] inside compilerOptions in tsconfig.json or jsconfig.json (your project's TypeScript/JavaScript settings file). Without this, your survey script may still work in Qualtrics, but your editor won't autocomplete or type-check Qualtrics methods correctly. source
  • Put page-specific code in addOnload Wrap survey JavaScript in Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload so it runs when the question or page loads. This lets your code access the current question's controls and data, which can be missing or not ready if you run the code at the wrong time. source
  • Deploy with Docker Compose Deploy via Docker or Docker Compose. Standalone binary builds and multi-node (multi-host) deployment are also supported. source
