  • Start with the one-line install command Run the provided one-line command in a terminal on your Ubuntu server. It automatically installs the container services Formbricks needs, so the app can start and keep its data in one place. source
  • Answer the email setup question If the installer asks whether to set up email, choose yes and enter your SMTP (email-server) credentials when you want emails to work. Skipping this leaves email notifications and account messages unable to send. source
  • Set up file uploads if you need images During installation, choose to configure file uploads if you want to use images, file-upload questions, or workspace logos. If you skip it, those features stay disabled until storage is added later. source
