Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

Resources & Compatibility
Requirements not published yet.
First-install notes
- Keep Docker running before setup Docker (the container app that runs OpnForm's services) must be started before you run the setup commands. If Docker is stopped, the containers can't start and OpnForm won't come up. source
- Run the Docker setup script Run `chmod +x scripts/docker-setup.sh` to allow the script to run, then run `./scripts/docker-setup.sh`. It prepares the needed config files and starts the containers, which prevents missing-setting errors that would stop OpnForm from coming up. source
- Create the .env config files If you're using the local non-Docker setup, run `./scripts/setup-env.sh` to create the `.env` files for the API and client. These files hold required settings, so without them the app may fail to start or act incorrectly. source

Common questions
Can I self-host OpnForm without an Enterprise license?
Yes, self-hosted OpnForm can be used for core functionality without an Enterprise license. Free self-hosted instances include OIDC within a two-user instance limit, and more users or advanced self-hosted features require license activation.
Why might OpnForm Docker containers fail to start during setup?
Docker must be running before you run the setup commands. If Docker is stopped, the containers cannot start and OpnForm will not come up.
What configuration files are required for a local non-Docker install?
Run ./scripts/setup-env.sh to create the .env files for the API and client. These files hold required settings, so without them the app may fail to start or act incorrectly.
How should I run the form-list index migration in a PostgreSQL deployment?
Run it through Laravel normally and do not wrap it in an external transaction. On PostgreSQL it uses CREATE INDEX CONCURRENTLY to keep writes available, and it can recover an invalid index left by an interrupted build.
Can I use my own domain with OpnForm?
The Help Center has a frequently read article on using your own domain, including CNAME setup.
How are uploaded files stored in a self-hosted instance?
Configure external storage, including AWS S3, using the docs' External Storage Configuration and AWS S3 Configuration pages.
