Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes

  • Keep your wiki files in /storage Mount a saved folder or Docker volume to the container's /storage path and back it up. DokuWiki stores pages, settings, uploads, and plugins there, so if that folder is lost the wiki disappears. source
  • Make sure /storage is writable The container runs as user and group number 33, so a host folder mounted at /storage may need write permission for that number. If it can't write, DokuWiki may start but fail to save pages or uploads. source
  • Check /health.php after starting Once the container is running, open the /health.php page and look for 'ok'. That quick check tells you the wiki initialized correctly, so you can catch setup problems early. source
