Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes
- Start and enable SickChill After installing, start the SickChill service (the background program that runs the app) and enable it so it starts automatically after a reboot. If you skip this, SickChill may be unavailable until you start it by hand, and it will not come back by itself after the computer restarts. source
- Install unrar for RAR releases Install the unrar command-line tool on the machine running SickChill if your downloads can be RAR files (a common compressed archive format). Without it, SickChill cannot unpack those releases and those downloads can fail. source
- Ubuntu one-line install script On Ubuntu, the official install script can automatically install SickChill's dependencies and set up the system service. Make sure you are actually on Ubuntu before running it, because it installs system packages and may not work as expected elsewhere. source

Common questions
Where should I report bugs or request features for SickChill?
Use the SickChill Discord for issue tracking, feature requests, support, and developer communication. Creating issues on GitHub has been deprecated.
Do I need API access between SickChill and Deluge when using a blackhole folder?
If Deluge simply watches a blackhole folder for new torrents, there is no API access between the apps. If you see API authentication errors, the likely place to check is the search provider.

Does SickChill generate NFO and TBN files for Kodi or XBMC?
Yes, it can perform Kodi/XBMC library updates, download posters/banners/fanart, and generate NFO/TBN files.
