Firefox is a Docker container that runs the free, open-source Mozilla Firefox web browser in the background and serves its full graphical interface to you over the network. You can open it in any modern web browser with no client-side installation or setup, or connect with any VNC client. The web interface adds audio playback, seamless clipboard sharing, and an integrated file manager and terminal for managing the container. Built on Alpine Linux, it keeps the image small and light on CPU and memory. It suits homelab and self-hosting users who want a managed, remotely accessible browser running on their own server.

First-install notes

  • Start by logging in with your credentials Use your service username and password in the login call once to get a token. This token is the pass the service uses to recognize you, so without it you cannot check your balance or get a phone number. source
  • Save the token and the pkey from setup Save the token and the pkey, which is the unique key for the temporary phone number you requested. If the SMS never arrives, use setRel with that pkey to free the number; losing it can stop you from getting the code or releasing it. source
  • Skip apiReturn unless it is enabled Do not send the apiReturn report unless your account has that specific permission enabled. The docs warn that unauthorized calls can deduct from your balance, so leave it off until the service says you may use it. source
  • Open the mapped port to use Firefox Open the container's mapped port in a web browser, or connect with any VNC client, to reach Firefox's full graphical interface. The web interface needs no client-side installation and adds audio playback, clipboard sharing, an integrated file manager, and a terminal. source
