Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes
- Install Flatpak and Flathub first If you plan to install NZBGet as a Flatpak (a packaged app), install Flatpak and add Flathub first. Flathub is the online app repository Flatpak uses, and without it the NZBGet install has nothing to download from. source
- Register the Windows service first On Windows, run nzbget -install before running net start NZBGet. This sets up NZBGet as a background program the system can manage, so trying to start it before that step can fail. source
- Install NZBGet on QNAP with sherpa If you’re using a QNAP NAS (a network storage device), run sudo sherpa install nzbget to install NZBGet. sudo means run with admin rights, and without this command the app won’t be on the NAS. source
