Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes

  • Set PUID/PGID to your user IDs Before starting, set PUID and PGID (the user and group IDs the container runs as) to the IDs shown by running id your_user. If they are wrong, the container may not be able to read or write your folders. source
  • Match published ports to settings Publish the same numbers you set for WEBUI_PORT and TORRENTING_PORT, and also publish the torrent port as UDP. If the ports do not match, the Web UI may not load or torrents may fail to connect to peers. source
  • Keep the /config folder safe Mount a host folder to /config to store qBittorrent's settings and task list. If that folder is lost, you will lose your login, saved tasks, and preferences. source
  • qBittorrent Version Requirement Requires qBittorrent version 4.1.0 or higher; the exporter will not function with earlier versions. source
