First-install notes

  • Point the editor at the Document Server URL Before launching the editor, set documentServerUrl to the full base address of your OnlyOffice Document Server and check that the document URL in the config is reachable. If the server address is wrong, the editor cannot load DocsAPI (the browser-side editor library) and will fail with an error. source
  • Docker Network Create the onlyoffice Docker bridge network before starting this container: docker network create --driver bridge onlyoffice source
  • Startup Order When paired with ONLYOFFICE Community Server, start this Document Server container first. source
  • HTTPS Configuration Enable HTTPS by creating a certs folder in the data directory and placing onlyoffice.crt and onlyoffice.key inside it. source
